On the morning of March 16, Chen Jianguang, member of the Party Leadership Group, Deputy General Manager of the Group, Secretary of the Party Committee of China Metallurgical Group, Chairman of China Metallurgical Group and China Metallurgical Group, met with Mr. Nurdin Tempupolong, Chairman of Indonesia NT Corp Group, and his delegation at the China Metallurgical Building. The two sides held in-depth discussions and exchanges on the cooperation of the ISN Nickel Industrial Park project in Sulawesi, Indonesia.
Chen Jianguang welcomed Mr. Nur Din's visit and briefed him on the basic situation of China Metallurgical Group. He said that as the world's largest and strongest metallurgical construction contractor and operation service provider for metallurgical enterprises, MCC has successfully transformed itself in recent years by virtue of its strong technical advantages accumulated in the field of iron and steel metallurgy, and is now making unremitting efforts towards the goal of "one to create two to top five". China Metallurgical Group has been deeply engaged in the field of nickel iron smelting, successfully participated in a number of large nickel iron smelting projects at home and abroad, and has been highly praised by all walks of life. MCC has the confidence and ability to deliver the 2×3300KVA pyrometallurgical smelting project of ISN Nickel Industrial Park in Indonesia to a high standard, and is willing to take this project as a starting point, give full play to the competitive advantages of the whole industrial chain, strengthen interaction and synergy with NT Corp Group, and jointly promote the "Belt and Road" construction and international production capacity cooperation. It will make new and greater contributions to Indonesia's industrialization.
Mr. Nur Din expressed appreciation to China Metallurgical Group for its long-term deep cultivation of the Indonesian market and deep participation in the construction of industrial infrastructure in Indonesia, and briefed on the development of the ISN Nickel Industrial Park project in Indonesia. He said that the ISN nickel Industrial Park plans to build several plates in phases, such as a thermal smelter, a wet smelter, a stainless steel plant, a battery production plant, solar panels and new energy vehicles. China Metallurgical Group has strong strength and rich experience in the fields of non-ferrous metal smelting and new energy. At present, the first phase of the industrial park thermal process nickel-iron smelting project is progressing smoothly. It is hoped that on the basis of existing cooperation, the two sides will further strengthen cooperation in such fields as hydrometallurgy, new energy vehicles and solar panels so as to achieve mutual benefit and common development.
